2001 – The Nordic countries are generally viewed to have the most successful approach to regional development. Finland, Sweden, and Norway are leaders because they have a focused approach to regional development that includes various levels of government and infrastructure that ranges from universities to advanced telecommunications and transportation links.

This video focuses on Norway and some of the reasons for its success, using the city of Tromsø and Troms County as a case study.
